Three years ago, police officer Liu Yuan Wen sent back faulty intelligence, seemingly causing the death of his fiancée and fellow officer Rong Yu. He also lost his close friend and brother-in-law-to-be, Rong Yao, a member of the drug task force. Overcome by guilt and grief, Liu Yuan Wen resigned from the force and disappeared without a trace.
In the present, Rong Yao has risen through the ranks to become the leader of the task force. His latest mission is to support an undercover operative who has infiltrated the notorious drug cartel, Group K, led by the ruthless Mr. Ou. To his shock, the undercover agent turns out to be Liu Yuan Wen himself. Reunited under dangerous circumstances, the two must put aside the past and work together to dismantle the cartel and deliver justice.
