Synopsis
Tong Xue becomes an orphan at a young age and is raised by her maternal uncle. While working at a café, she meets Mo Shaoqian, the powerful chairman of Yunzhong Corporation. What she does not know is that her late father was connected to a past betrayal that caused serious consequences for Shaoqian's family.
Shaoqian has entered into a marriage with Mu Yongfei, the heiress of a wealthy family, for the sake of his family's business. After discovering Tong Xue's identity and her connection to his family's painful past, he decides to use evidence against her uncle to force her into his life.
As Tong Xue struggles under Shaoqian's control, their relationship gradually becomes more complicated. Shaoqian's desire for revenge begins to conflict with his growing feelings for her, while Tong Xue remains emotionally attached to her childhood love, Xiao Shan. Their relationship is caught between resentment, guilt, love, and the consequences of the past.
