Su Nian Nian is a hardworking and ambitious student whose dream is to enter China’s top universities, such as Beijing University or Tsinghua University. However, a sudden traffic accident causes her to miss her college entrance exams, completely altering her future. Instead of her dream school, she ends up enrolling in an ordinary engineering college in a small city.
At her new school, Su Nian Nian meets Gu Zi Chen, the rebellious and carefree son of a wealthy family. Believing him to be responsible for her accident and ruined plans, she harbors deep resentment toward him. Their encounters are filled with constant arguments, misunderstandings, and sharp-tongued bickering.
As they spend more time together navigating campus life, friendships, and academic challenges, the tension between Su Nian Nian and Gu Zi Chen slowly softens. Beneath their clashes lies mutual understanding and support, and their love-hate relationship gradually transforms into genuine affection.
