Synopsis
What would you do if you suddenly woke up inside the world of a script, cast as a tragic female lead destined to be used, discarded, and ultimately tortured to death by the villainous male lead?
For Song Xiao Yu, the answer is simple—run for her life. She immediately attempts to escape her doomed fate, but the world she has fallen into refuses to let her go. Every time she tries to change the storyline or marry a different supporting character, she triggers endless “bugs” and dies in 108 bizarre and creative ways.
No matter how desperately she resists, the plot always pushes her back toward the male lead, Nan Heng. She is forced to replay the script’s iconic scenes with him again and again, trapped in a world where characters are bound by roles they never chose.
Some palace women are imprisoned by schemes, nobles by politics, and ordinary characters by their pursuit of power or love. Dreams, freedom, and personal will all bend—sometimes painfully—under the weight of predetermined fate.
Only when Xiao Yu finally realizes that she is no longer living in the “old script,” and that Nan Heng is far from the villain she believed him to be, does she discover that the truth—and perhaps love—may lie beyond the pages of fate.
