Synopsis
Xu Jie enters Mingtang Law Firm for a fresh start and immediately becomes involved in a bribery case centered around Chen Wen Guang, one of the firm’s senior partners. She begins working alongside Chen Wen Guang’s daughter, Chen Ran, who is secretly investigating the circumstances behind her father’s imprisonment.
Initially at odds, the two women gradually bond as they handle cases together. But when Chen Ran discovers Xu Jie's real motive for joining the firm, their growing friendship is shaken.
