Synopsis
This series is the final installment of the Condor Trilogy, following Legend of the Condor Heroes and Return of the Condor Heroes. The story takes place nearly 100 years after the events of the second part, during a China ruled by the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty.
Legends foretell that whoever obtains the Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Saber will gain the ultimate power to rule the world. Zhang Wuji becomes orphaned at a young age due to conspiracies surrounding the secrets of these two legendary weapons.
Though Wuji longs for a peaceful and non-violent life, he is inevitably drawn into the chaotic struggles for power among various martial arts factions. Forced to fight for survival and protect those he loves, he eventually rises to play a pivotal role in the turbulent world of the Jianghu.
