During the war between Wei and Shu, the Shu kingdom achieved victory using their powerful self-developed crossbows. To seize this advantage, Wei sent countless spies to infiltrate Shu and steal the weapon’s secrets. Among these spies are Chen Gong and Xun Xu, two Shu operatives who have lived undercover in the Wei kingdom for many years. When they uncover Wei’s plans, the two decide to act separately in order to stop them.
Chen Gong remains behind in Wei to gather intelligence, while Xun Xu returns to Shu to launch his investigation. During his mission, Xun Xu uncovers the thief of the crossbows — Mei Chong — and learns of a mysterious, elite spy named Zhu Long, who is secretly operating within Shu and preparing to activate the deadly Qing Ping Plan. To protect Shu, Xun Xu devises an intricate scheme to capture Mei Chong and dismantle the entire spy network lurking within his homeland.
