Synopsis
During the Northern Song Dynasty, the Plough Department is a special investigative organization that answers directly to the emperor. Its members possess unusual abilities and are entrusted with solving strange and difficult cases that ordinary officials cannot handle.
Tai Sui is a talented young illusionist whose life changes after his teacher is mysteriously killed. While seeking the truth and pursuing revenge, he crosses paths with Wu Yao Guang and Liu Sui Feng, two members of the Plough Department investigating an unusual case.
Tai Sui's remarkable abilities eventually lead him to join the department, where he works alongside Wu Yao Guang, Liu Sui Feng, and Kai Yang. Together, the four young investigators tackle mysterious crimes, supernatural incidents, and unusual cases throughout the empire.
As their investigations continue, the team discovers that seemingly unrelated cases are connected by a much larger conspiracy. Tai Sui also begins to uncover secrets about his own identity and forgotten past, revealing a connection to the imperial family that changes everything he thought he knew about himself.
