Night City Fu
Night City Fu is a political wuxia romance centered on power, deception, and identity. Shu Cheng, the daughter of the most influential aristocratic family of Shu, is forced to disguise herself as a frivolous playgirl to conceal her sharp intellect and extraordinary capabilities—abilities that pose a threat to the Emperor himself.
Behind her careless exterior, Shu Cheng is a master strategist. In an attempt to control the balance of power, she seeks to elevate the enigmatic Shen Ye into the most renowned yiji (high-class courtesan) in the world. However, her plan quickly unravels when she discovers that Shen Ye possesses multiple hidden identities, making it nearly impossible to determine whether he is an ally or an enemy.
As political turmoil intensifies, Shu Cheng and Shen Ye are drawn into the very heart of a dangerous power struggle. Forced to cooperate to survive shifting alliances and deadly schemes, they become entangled in a relationship defined by mistrust, attraction, and mutual reliance. Their opposing identities place them on different sides of the chessboard, turning them into the closest of enemies—and the most dangerous of partners.
Amid gender role reversals, secret loyalties, and intricate court politics, Night City Fu explores the cost of ambition and the fragile line between love and rivalry in a world ruled by manipulation and power.
