The Longest Promise – 玉骨遥
The Longest Promise is a Chinese xianxia fantasy drama set in the mystical world of the Kong Sang Continent. The story blends romance, politics, and cultivation with an emotional tale of destiny and forbidden love.
Synopsis
The story follows Princess Zhu Yan of the Chi Yi Tribe and the royal prince Shi Ying.
After a conspiracy falsely implicates the queen, Prince Shi Ying is banished from the royal court and sent to Jiu Yi Mountain to cultivate his spiritual power. During his time in seclusion, he accepts Zhu Yan as his disciple.
While training together, the two gradually develop deep feelings for one another. However, the strict boundaries of their master-disciple relationship prevent them from openly acknowledging their emotions.
Their fragile relationship becomes even more complicated when fate places them on opposing sides of a dangerous political struggle that threatens the entire Kong Sang Continent.
As conflict escalates and loyalties are tested, Zhu Yan and Shi Ying must confront their feelings, overcome misunderstandings, and decide whether love or duty will guide their choices.
In the end, setting aside their personal conflicts, the two join forces to defend the land they cherish and protect the future of the Kong Sang Continent.
